Since you’re never really sure when an accident might occur, you need to have short term insurance in place. Short-term insurance is protection for your future. It’s not a commitment for years and years but rather a short period of time. Even if the premiums seem expensive think what it could cost you without it should something happen. In reality you will eventually have other insurance once you begin that new job, make the move, or complete what ever particular phase of your life you’re currently in. Once your new insurance kicks in the family short-term health insurance can be canceled.
